Other ways we receive data

Automatic Data Collection

As you navigate through our Website, we may use automatic data collection technology, including Google Analytics, to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and trends. This may include information about your general location, your traffic pattern through our website, and any communications between your computer and our website.  Information may also include data about the type of computer you use, your Internet connection, your IP address, your operating system, and your browser type.

The information we collect automatically is used for statistical data and will not include personal information. We use this data to improve our Website and our service offerings. To the extent that you voluntarily provide personal information to us, our systems will associate the automatically collected information with your personal information.

Cookies are small files which are stored on a user’s computer. They are designed to hold a modest amount of data specific to a particular client and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. This allows the server to deliver a page tailored to a particular user, or the page itself can contain some script which is aware of the data in the cookie and so is able to carry information from one visit to the website (or related site) to the next. Browsers are usually set to accept cookies. However, if you would prefer not to receive cookies, you may alter the configuration of your browser to refuse cookies. If you choose to have your browser refuse cookies, it is possible that some areas of our site will not function as effectively when viewed by the users. A cookie can’t retrieve any other data from your hard drive or pass on computer viruses.

How We Use Information from Cookies

As you visit and browse our website, the site uses cookies to differentiate you from other users. We may also use cookies to prevent you from having to log in more than necessary for security purposes. Cookies, along with our Website server’s log files, allow us to calculate the number of people visiting our websites and which parts of the site are most popular. This helps us gather feedback to constantly improve our website and better serve our clients. Cookies do not allow us to gather any personal information about you and we don’t intentionally store any personal information that your browser provided to us in your cookies.

IP Addresses

IP addresses are used by your computer every time you are connected to the Internet. Your IP address is a number that’s used by computers on the network to identify your computer. IP addresses are automatically collected by our Web server as part of demographic and profile data known as traffic data so that data (for example the Web pages you request) can be sent to you.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

If you sign up for a free download or to one of our email lists, your data is automatically added to a list with that tag to ensure you receive only the content you have signed up for. To do this we use your name and email.
